Surprise, more colour! I bet that you never thought that you would see me wear pink. Am I right? Well you’re not wrong, I never really thought that I would be wearing pink either. It’s honestly not a colour that I often, if ever grativate to, but I felt that it would be fun to try something new.

We’re about to get really cheesy here in a couple of seconds. In all honesty, I really did wanted to try something new. One of my personal mottos is to always push your boundaries and to constantly place yourself in positions that don’t necsesarily make you feel comfortable. Now I’m not advocating that you go out and try something that could potentially harm you, but to always test your limits and to be willing to live outside of your comfort zone.

For too long I’ve been living in a neutral wardrobe. When I look at my closet, almost everything that I own is either black, grey, white or some variation of beige and blue. It’s not the most exciting or inspiring closet to own. Sure, anyone that takes a look at it can easily find something that they’d be able to incorporate into their own everyday wardrobe, but why be the fly on the wall in a world where everyone wants to play it safe?

While I’m not quite ready to strut my stuff down a runway and wear haute couture on a daily basis, I am ready to play with a little bit of colour and to revitalize my closet a bit. So let’s push the boundaries a little, let’s play with some colour and not play it safe.
