Camel & Stripes

Camel & Stripes

If there are two things that I love, it’s camel coloured anything and stripes. So when I came across this off-shoulder cashmere camel sweater from Maram, I instantly knew that I wanted to put together an outfit of it with my so-called “beetlejuice” trousers.

The horizontal banded nature of the sweater juxtaposed well against the vertical stripes of the trousers, making the two a perfect fit for each other.

With the warm weekend that we just had, I really wanted to take advantage of it with an off-the-shoulder top before our luck ran its path and we were hurtled back into winter.

These trousers are actually a little bit too long for me, so the only way to remove the length without having to send them off to a seamstress was by throwing on a pair of heels. Although this pair is a little high, I can never say no to a good heel. You know what they say, “the higher the heel… the easier to reach the food on the top shelf”!

Thanks darling! They’re so comfortable and work well from work to afterwards!
