Vancouver Wanders: OPUS

Swimsuit – MISSPAP

A couple weeks ago, P and I took our first ever long distance trip together. It’s weird to think that in the past 5 years that we’ve been together, we haven’t had a chance to travel farther than Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. For other fellow Ontarioans (please tell me that’s a phrase), these 3 destinations are quite standard – so it was nice to finally go somewhere outside of the basic East Coast cities.

Artemano Family Moments

Growing up, some of my fondest memories revolve around the family room of my parents’ house. In my toddler stages, I remember being chased around and around the coffee table. Have a holly jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year! We survived the torment of a 5 hour long trip back to Ottawa and I’m ready to spend some much deserved time with the family and catch up on my Zzz’s.

I’ll be signing off from the blog for a couple of days to celebrate the holidays, but I’ll be back before New Years! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a lovely holiday season. See you in a couple of days!

There’s something relaxing about it (this might be my OCD talking) that I can’t quite pinpoint and loving it has basically allowed me to perfect the art of gift wrapping – or so I think I have. So without further ado, here are my ultimate essentials for the perfectly wrapped gift for the holidays!

Shopping Flea Markets Like a Pro

Shopping Flea Markets Like a Pro

When I was younger, and I’m talking pre-braceface period young, my parents used to take me to a local flea market in Ottawa. I’ve accumulated some fond memories from the times perusing vintage goods as well as home made products, but I’ve also curated the skill of becoming a hoarder. With the mountain of cute, quaint and unique things that you can find at flea markets, it can be tempting to buy everything. The fear of missing out on a good deal makes it too easy to throw over the cash for everything that catches your eye. Cue the “take my money” meme.
