Sweater, Skirt, Blazer, Boots – Dynamite

I recently purchased a brand new PAX wardrobe during the Black Friday sales and finally received and put it together this past week—totally time-lapsed the documented the entire process and you should definitely watch it on my #VLOGMAS if you haven’t already! Oh yes, I’ve revived my YouTube channel if you didn’t already know (have you not been keeping up with my Instagram stories?!), and you should definitely check it out because I’m vlogging everyday leading up until Christmas! It was so much fun putting it together with Peter, and I’m so glad that I finally have been able to create more space in my closet to make way for some new seasonal additions, particularly everything red/burgundy/oxblood/cranberry that I’ve been picking up lately!

If you couldn’t already tell (is this head-to-toe cranberry outfit not enough of a dead giveaway?), I’ve been obsessed with warmer tones recently. There’s something about the cooler seasons that really bring out my love for everything red and I can’t help but wear something in that shade everyday. You may have noticed that within this last year that I’ve begun introducing a lot more colour into my wardrobe. If you took a peek into my closet this time last year, you’d probably see a stack of sweaters in varying shades of a neutral rainbow. I’m not even joking. I probably own a sweater in every shade of beige and grey known to mankind. It only made sense for me to invest in some new sweaters (in actual colours) this year. And seeing as I have a currently have this strange affinity towards red tones, it makes even more sense for a couple of them to ‘magically‘ materialize into my closet. Let’s be honest, the real reason why I bought the new PAX wardrobe was to organize my clothes and to make space for new ones… sorry, not sorry Peter!

Dynamite has been completely killing it this past and current season with so many amazing pieces (they’ve honestly been fueling my love for red to a whole new level), that you really need to make a trip to the store to check them out if you haven’t been recently. As part of my monthly collaboration with the brand, I selected these beautiful red-tone pieces that not only look phenomenal paired together, but can be worn separately and still look just as amazing on their own.

Everybody loves a good chunky turtleneck sweater to stay warm in the winter (who needs a scarf!?), and when paired together with this faux leather red skirt, I instantly get holiday/festive vibes that still absolutely properly translates over to everyday wear. As much as I love dressing up in sequins and sparkles for the holidays, it just isn’t always feasible to translate those over-the-top outfits back into normal life once January 1st rolls around. With these ones though, I definitely can. And who’s to say that you can’t continue to wear them into the new year long after the holiday festivities are long gone? Cranberry is definitely a friendly colour to wear all year-round!
