It’s a new year, so you’d expect a new me right? Wrong. I’m not one to make resolutions so you’re going to get the same me. But although I’m not much of a resolutioner, I do have some changes/improvements in mind that I want to make for 2017. Like everyone else, I’ve done the whole resolutions thing in the past. And as we already all know, they don’t stick. I’ve come to learn that singular goals aren’t exactly feasible because they aren’t measurable within a year. Instead, I’ve embraced the bigger picture and have set aspirations that lead to a more positive lifestyle in hopes of improving my overall life, sanity, and health.

My one hope for 2017 is to improve my personal relationships between my friends, family, and close ones. 2016 was a year of massive growth, but along with that came some intense tunnel vision. I’ve now learned that it can be tough to balance your personal and work life, but it definitely is do-able. But don’t worry, even though I may be changing my outlook on how I choose to lead my life, there will always be one constant that never changes – my love of grey.

Kicking off the year in a grey outfit (would you expect anything else?), I promise to make this the best year yet for TLL and for myself. And even though we’re only 13 days into the year, I’ve already experienced so much and feel so grateful for all of the opportunities that I’ve been given. I can’t wait to share with you guys some of the big changes that have already taken place in the short span of 2 weeks and I hope you’ll embark on this journey of 2017 with me!
