March Lust Listt

I can’t believe that it’s almost Spring! Just a few more weeks until the sun begins to shine a little longer and the grass begins to grow. I think Daylight Time Savings even comes into effect next week – which means we can now have sunlight beyond 5PM. If you can’t tell, I’m already jumping for joy and doing a little happy dance. In celebration of Spring’s impending arrival (although subconsciously I think I already began my Spring turnover in the closet), I’ve been pulling out some of my sneakers and flats. Goodbye to the winter boots and hello to my oxfords and sandals. Or maybe I’m thinking too far ahead?

Regardless of the fact, I can’t wait to start wearing separates from my Spring and Summer wardrobe again. I always feel so limited in the Winter due to mitigating factors such as warmth and functionality. They both always seem to end up hindering what I picture myself wearing as opposed to what I actually end up wearing. So with warmer weather comes more opportunities, and may I say that the possibilities are even endless? Let’s take a look at what made it onto this month’s Lust Listt.

March Lust Listt

  1. Patent Toe Bluchers (ZARA) | $69.90
If there’s nothing more that I like, it’s a good pointed toe. As a young girl, I used to think that pointed toe shoes were so dated. But as I grew older, I began to see them in a different light. Rather than old lady-like, I saw pointed toes as sophistication as poise. You need a certain personality to pull off the pointed toe, and honing that personality has been a long-time goal of mine.
  2. Constant Bucket Bag (Aritzia) | $198.00
Everyone already has the Mansour Gavriel bucket bag, so if I’m to invest in one, I’d want it to look different. There’s nothing quite like this textured “marble-esque” print, which is definitely a piece that I want to be apart of my collection.
  3. Lizbeth Overalls (Aritzia) | $145.00
Again my inner 90’s child comes out with an obsession for onesies and rompers. Now it’s transgressed to overalls – or dungarees as some would like to call them. I personally like the breezy and light material of this one, so that although the length may be longer than the typical rompers I’m used to wearing, it won’t be as hot as it appears.
  4. Poppy – Wizz Fizz (Triangl) | $89.00
All of my recent West Coast adventures has got me thinking that I need some more sunshine in my life. I’ve got trips to Las Vegas and the Bermuda coming up in the next couple of months and what better way to prepare myself for the warmth and sunshine then by with a new bikini? You already know that I’m a huge fan of the Triangl ones that I own (mainly because of the fabric), so adding a new one to my collection is a no-brainer.
  5. Picked Perfect (Essie) | $8.50
Similar to the way that you can never have too many nude heels, you can never have too many nude polishes. Essie’s new Spring 2015 collection is inspired by flowers, and although I love all the gorgeous shades, this beautiful nude was the one that stuck out to me the most. Funny isn’t it, that sometimes the things that are meant to be neutrals are the ones that attract you the most?
  6. Slipper Sandal (ZARA) | $25.90
If booties are my go-to winter shoe, then sandals are quickly becoming my go-to summer footwear of choice. Being both minimalistic and comfortable, how else can I say no?
  7. Marble White (Casetify) | $39.95
You already know my obsession with white and anything marble, so it goes without a say that this phone case speaks volumesĀ  (no pun intended) to me.
  8. Medium Lulu (Saint Laurent) | $2,150.00
Is it odd that out of all of my bags, not a single one is black? I think that it’s time for that to change. This timeless silhouette can be the first of many to join my collection.
  9. Long Tailored Waist Coat (ZARA) | $99.90
The words “tailored” and “waist coat” are like sugar to my eyes. Anything that is tailored is always a good sign. And true to its name, when I tried it on in store, it fit like a glove. You can expect to see me triapsing around in this at WMCFW.
