Snow Bunny

With Toronto Fashion Week coming up next week, I wanted to share with you one of the designers that I’m most excited to see. I recently had the opportunity to work with Maram Paris to style their Ivory Lamb Leather and Fur Jacket.

There’s something quite exquisite to the design of having the entire bottom half of the jacket constructed out of fur. At first I thought that it would look bottom heavy, but the A-line design of the jacket actually comes off quite flattering.

While most moto jackets typically end near the waist, the hemline of this one goes well below and hits the middle of my thighs. The longer length is oddly flattering and chic, mainly due to its luxurious construction of lamb skin and coyote fur pairing. Funnily enough though, I felt more like a snow bunny instead of a coyote.

I haven’t talked much about functionality recently, but this jacket doubles well as dress with the added length to the hem. Not that I’d recommend that anyone wear this jacket along without anything underneath (but hey, it’s your prerogative to if you want), because I absolutely wore a light spring dress, but the length works.
