If you’re a swimsuit collector, then you’ll know that Solid & Striped is the name of a fantastic brand. I’d give anything to be in a swimsuit right now considering how gloomy Toronto has been this past week. Unfortunately I’m in full on sweats as I write out this blog post (surprise, bloggers aren’t always impeccably dressed) but would kill to be back on the sunny beaches of Mexico.
I’m beginning to feel more patriotic as we draw nearer to Canada’s 150th birthday. As such, I’ve decided to make a concerted effort to highlight some amazing Canadian brands throughout the year. I’m hoping to have the chance of sharing my favourite brands with you as well so stay tuned for some fun giveaways in the month of July! Have I mentioned that July is also my birthday month? We’re going to be blowing it out of the water this year. Trust me, it’s going to be good.
To kick off the Canadiana love, I wanted to share a local Toronto brand that not only designs their own super cool apparel, but also lends a hand to the community, and believed in me when I first started blogging in the Toronto scene – Peace Collective. I can’t begin to count how many of their T-shirts and sweaters that I own. The fact that their pieces are so versatile is what makes them a favourite of mine. From this outfit to PJs, and working out to casual hangs. There is almost never a situation that I haven’t been able to get away with wearing a cute T-shirt.
