If there’s one thing that I gravitate towards when it comes to clothes, it’s efficiency. Summer is not only one of my favourite times of the year because of the beautiful warm weather, but because of how easily I can throw on a dress and call it a day. It’s an instant outfit without having to put too much thought into it? Why not! And because of that, the number one trend that I’m one hundred percent riding the train on this year is matching suits.

But really though, how amazing is this look? Suits are no longer reserved for the board room. Anyone can rock the suited look, and it’s just as appropriate for everyday wear as it is for an office setting. I also can’t argue with the fact that you’ll no longer have to bother packing an additional outfit to meet up with friends after work, since the suiting look is perfectly on trend. Who would have thought, wearing the same outfit from work to hanging out with friends afterwards!

One a recent trip to the Toronto Premium Outlets, I popped into one of their newest retailers—Sandro Paris. While they aren’t necessarily new to the mall, it’s relatively new to me. I haven’t been to the outlet mall in quite a few months, so it only made sense to pay a visit to see what’s fresh for the picking. Luckily enough, we visited on the very last day that Sandro Paris was offering an additional 40% off all sale prices, so I managed to snag this striped suit for an amazing deal, all the while finally filling the void in my closet that was reserved for the perfect patterned suit. I already have several suits in my arsenal, but all are solid colours, so it was only fitting that I jazzed things up a little and add a printed one to the collection.

On that trip to the mall, I was pretty close to walking out of the store with a bright red blazer instead of the matching striped one, but ended up justifying with myself that the red blazer probably wouldn’t have as much longevity as this neutral striped one. Although I currently have an affinity towards reds and warm tones, who’s to say that I’ll still enjoy this colour palette a few years down the road? At least this striped one is fairly neutral and can easily be transitioned into various other outfits as well. However, if you’re on the market for a red blazer, I would highly recommend a visit to the Sandro Paris outlet to try one on for yourself. I’ve long since been a fan of the brand, primarily for their amazing fit and tailored silhouettes, but also for their high quality materials paired together with fashion forward designs. And if you can still get ahold of the additional 40% off on top of sale pricing, then why not?
