Transitional Wear

Happy Thursday! I can’t believe that we’re already in May! It’s supposed to be spring, but we’re at this really strange and weird point in the weather where it’s too cold to venture out without a jacket of some sort in the morning, and you wind up carrying all of the excess layers home in the evening. Quite the annoyance. Being a walker (to and from work), carrying all of those extra pieces just isn’t conducive, so I’ve begun to strategically dress in layers in order to avoid that jacket pile up.

I purchased this grid-print blouse from Joe Fresh way back during the holidays and haven’t really had a chance to wear it until now. The silky material was a little too cool against my skin for my liking during the winter time, so I set it aside for my cashmeres. Now that the weather has warmed up a little, I’ve begun breaking it back out with sweaters to slowly transition into a warmer-weather wardrobe.
