I’ve never been a fan of the whole matchy-matchy outfit trend with your significant other, but every once in awhile it can be cute. P and I recently went shopping for some new spring coats and stumbled onto this cute pair while wandering around at Bench. Before anyone decides to be a smarty-pants and point out the obvious, the jackets are not the same. Nor were they intended to be.
I’m just going to call this a ‘His & Hers‘ look purely for the fact that they were found in the same retailer, and because both of the jackets have a textured finish. If we really want to dive deeper into how much they match, note the similar silhouettes and cut as well.
The subtle matching features makes the two jackets fun to dress up and see how we set ourselves apart from each other, yet still feel connected. I can definitely foresee us being able to wear these jackets all spring long and play into the matching couple game without appearing like we actually tried to match.
