A Scarf That I Stole

A Scarf That I Stole

No, I didn’t actually steal this scarf. But it definitely is a stole, a faux one at that. I picked this beige piece up a couple years back and have had so much fun styling it every winter since it works great as both a collar for blazers and a shoulder piece for sweaters. It’s a fun and versatile addition to my wardrobe that easily transforms any plain outfit to something that looks and feels just a little bit more luxe. Plus it helps that it’s nice and soft, and tell me if I’m weird but I like soft things against my cheeks!

Because the stole itself has so much texture, I like to keep any outfits that I style it with as simple as possible so as to let it shine. Color blocking is a usual go-to, and I repeated that aesthetic with a grey sweater layered over a silk long-tailed T-shirt. Since the top was so light in color, I went with my favorite pleather pants and finished it all with my heeled combat boots so that I wouldn’t look to short with all of the color blocking.
